Al Hawija mall
The project establishes a major contemporary retail and commercial hub in Iraq, conceived to maximize urban engagement and market visibility. The architecture employs bold, layered rectilinear volumes with high-contrast, segmented facades. The design strategically integrates modern surface treatments, featuring intricate patterned metallic and glass cladding alongside expansive, smooth concrete planes.
Functionally, the site layout supports the large structure with dedicated perimeter parking and a clearly zoned interior that allocates a significant area for internal dining and social gathering. The ground level utilizes extensive full-height glazing to create a transparent, active retail frontage, successfully marrying modern design execution with essential commercial performance requirements.
